Offer condolences to Beigh, Shawl families

Srinagar, Jul 02 (KNO): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, Wednesday visited Nawa Kadal to offer condolences at the residence of Ghulam Muhammad Beigh, a prominent personality of Shehr-e-Khaas and a close well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family, who passed away yesterday. He met with the deceased's sons Muhammad Ashraf Beigh, Miehrajuddin Beigh, other family members and local well-wishers, paid tribute to Beigh Sahib’s sincere services, and offered Fatiha and prayed for his Magfirah. Later, Mirwaiz, as per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), visited Rajbagh to condole with the family of late Khawaja Ghulam Nabi Shawl of Saraf Kadal a close associate of Mirwaiz family on the passing of his virtuous wife. He expressed sympathy to her sons — Fayaz Ahmad Shawl, Zahoor Ahmad Shawl, Feroz Ahmad Shawl and Raouf Ahmad Shawl — and other members of the Shawl family , Mirwaiz offered Fateha for the deceased and prayed for her magfirah. Mirwaiz also expressed grief over the demise of another well-wisher, Mir Abdul Rashid of Botta Shah Mohalla, Lal Bazar. He offered condolences to his sons — Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad, Mir Raouf Ahmad — and his brothers Mir Javed Ahmad and Mir Farooq Ahmad, praying for his forgiveness and a place in Jannah—(KNO)
